Stampede Stills Vacuum Relief Valve is designed to protect your still pot against negative pressure and opens up a -5psi. This valve requires no maintenance and opens/closes on its own when the pressure requires.
It works by preventing internal vacuum conditions that could result in collapsed tanks.
Made out of lead-free brass. The receiving fitting is made out of copper and is easy to install.
If your thumper or pot cools too quickly and cannot breathe, it can cause an implosion that can ruin the container.
The 5 PSI pressure relief valve will open when the pressure inside goes over 5psi and will need to be manually reset after the clog/pressure issue is resolved.
