This One-time used BALCONES 5 gallon oak Bourbon barrel will be a great start to your new whiskey cellar. Custom age your own products in the privacy of your home. It has a MEDIUM Char and is ready to use. It was previously used by Balcones distillery here in Texas to age their award winning whiskey.

These are the real deal barrels.

Side bung hole. There is no spigot or stand. These are as they would be used in a distillery.

*** THE BARREL WILL BE STEAM CHECKED AND PREPARED FOR YOU TO SWELL. We will tighten the rings and apply barrel wax to any area that need addressing. The barrel will have signs of use and wear, possible staining from prior use, and a nice aroma of whiskey.

The barrel wood is American Oak from new wood and are bourbon grade barrels.
